The entire body is made up of an organ called skin so the skin is known as the largest organ of the body. It is made up of different layers but has 3 basic layers that are also divided into sub-groups. The 3 basic layers of the skin are Epidermis, dermis, and hypodermic.

Epidermis Region: It is known as the outermost layer of the skin which we can see, feel and touch it helps to provide a waterproof barrier. The epidermis is known for its protection it helps to protect the body from harsh substances and the environment, provides the skin tone, and also creates new skin cells for the body.

Dermis Region: This is known as the layer beneath the epidermis region the dermis layer gives the skin the strength and elasticity required, the sweat gland and sebaceous gland are found on the Dermis layers, helping in the production of sweat and sebum(oil) to the skin. it is also known for its protection it helps to renew the skin by supplying blood needed for the skin. The dermis also helps to protect the human body against cold through the growth of hair.

Subcutaneous Layer (hypodermis): This layer of the skin is made up of connective tissue and fat it is said to be the innermost layer of the skin that is connected to bones and tissues it helps with blood supply and circulation. It also helps the body to regulate fat.

How Do You Check Your Skin Type

You must know your skin type there are different types of skin types, and for you to maintain your skin and choose the right skincare products you must know your skin type. I will give you some details on identifying your skin type.

1. Normal Skin: This is a type of skin that is said to be balanced, which means it is not too oily and not dry, it produces balance sebum and balance moisture, with small pores opening. Normal skin has a very smooth, soothing, and soft feeling. people with this skin can easily get skincare products that work for them.

2. Dry Skin: This is the type of skin that is dehydrated it has a very low sebum production, and it is usually characterized as very dry, rough, and flaky due to its thin and tight pores. People with dry skin can be seen with a fine line and scaly appearance.

3. Oily Skin: This is the type of skin that is high in the production of sebum, it is usually characterized as greasy skin with a shiny appearance, an oily skin person is prone to acne and blemishes due to enlarged pores.

4. Combination Skin: combination skin can be a little bit tricky sometimes you may find it hard to identify this type of skin because you might think you have oily skin .it is usually found on the face it can also be found on the body, you can have normal skin on some parts of your body like your hands and may experience dry skin on other parts of your body like your legs which are common with most people. but in most cases, it can easily be identified on the face through the T zone region which is the foreheads, nose, and chin. Combination skin can be a mixture of oily skin and dry skin. It can also be a mixture of oily skin and normal skin.

5. Sensitive Skin: Sensitive skin is prone to allergies it can easily react to skin care products, weather conditions, and environmental factors. Sensitive skin is delicate skin it can easily detect and respond to changes. It is susceptible to heat, harsh products, certain types of food, etc This type of skin can easily get infected by microorganisms as a result of the disruption of the skin's protective barrier. Sensitive skin can be less comfortable, especially with many skin problems.

How To Take Care Of Each Skin Type

Normal Skin: For a normal skin type they are certain things that are required for you to do a normal skin type can be free of blemishes and acne and has fine pores and smooth texture but it can also, become dry when you fail to hydrate the skin they are certain skin care procedures that can be used on a normal skin type such as

1. Moisturizing your skin twice daily helps to prevent dryness and replenish skin moisture.

2. Use of sunscreen SPF: Sunscreen is very important for all skin types it prevents your skin from UV rays and a good sunscreen will do the job.

3. Eat fruits and vegetables: The antioxidants gotten from fruits and vegetables help to regulate the skin by making it look healthy and hydrated.

4. Good Hygiene: Change your bedding regularly and avoid touching the skin with dirty hands.

2. Dry Skin: Dry skin can be a bit scary sometimes because you don’t want a product that will dry out your face, certain processes can help you to prevent dry skin such as:
